FAQ’s 

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, dogs are more than welcome here both inside and out. All we ask is that you keep them on leads and clean up after them.

Can I bring my Kids?

Yes, Children are very welcome here. There are only a few events (such as our Sundowners Festival) where we suggest not to bring children, purely because it is not particularly child friendly. 

Do you have high chairs?

We do not have any high chairs here but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.

What are your opening hours?

See our main page for up to date opening hours as they do change but as a general rule, throughout the summer until the end of September we are open Tuesdays - Saturdays, 10AM - 5:30pm excluding events. 

Do I need to book?

For all tours and tastings you will need to book and you can do this through our online booking system. For our restaurant, it is not essential to book, you can just turn up and we do our very best to always accommodate walk ins. For a Saturday, however, we do suggest you try and book because these are our busiest days. 

Can I just pop in for coffee and cake?

Yes, absolutely!

Where can I find all your upcoming events? 

You can find a list of all our upcoming events on the events page of our website or ask a member of the team on your next visit. 

How do I use my gift voucher?

Our gift vouchers can be used towards anything here on the Estate. If you have a digital voucher and code, this can be used towards online store purchases as well. Physical vouchers can also be used for this, please just email us and we will assist you. Vouchers can be used in the restaurant, towards a tour or tasting or any other event. If you have a voucher and want to use it towards a tour and tasting please book online as normal and bring your voucher(s) with you on the day. If your voucher is specifically for a tour/tasting or the amount of your voucher covers the entirety of the experience and you don’t want to pay an additional deposit, please email us. 

What do I need to do the day of the tour?

Simply arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled start time and if intending to use a voucher as payment, please have them to hand.

What happens if it is raining on the day of my tour?

Unfortunately we can’t help the weather and this is England after all. We will always endeavour to get out amongst the vines, we can provide umbrellas and some shelter at each of the tasting stations around the vineyard but it’s always wise to bring an umbrella if the weather is looking like it might rain. We can also adapt the tour on the day and move indoors if need be. If the weather is particularly bad then we will look to reschedule. 

Are dogs allowed on tours?

Yes, dogs are welcome on tours, we just ask that they are kept on leads. 

Can you cater to my dietary requirements? 

We can cater to most dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free etc… we just ask that you let us know with plenty of notice so that we can prepare and adapt things where necessary. 

How much walking is involved on the 

There is a fair bit of walking around the vineyard, all at a slow pace and broken up with plenty of wine! If walking is going to be an issue, let us know and we will come up with a plan/adapt things if necessary. 

How do I change my booking?

If you need to change your booking for whatever reason, drop us an email and we can look to reschedule your experience. 

Do you offer a pickup service?

We offer pickups from Starcross station on a first come first serve basis and primarily for those on tours/tastings. This is not a guarantee so if you would like to be picked up from the station, please contact us well in advance of your experience and we will see what we can do. 

Do you have a shop at the Estate?

Yes you can buy any of our products at the Estate, including all of our wines as well as an assortment of other gift items. If you need any help, please speak to a member of our team.
