Our 2023 Barrel aged Bacchus “Pheasant Tales” is a limited edition wine with fewer than 2000 bottles made. This wine has been aged in oak barrels for 6 months resulting in a beautifully silky texture. The Bacchus still shines through with wonderful English hedgerow flavours of elderflower, pear and cut grass for that “English Summer” in a glass taste. By ageing it in barrel, a delicately, creamy mouthfeel is produced which perfectly compliments the bright summer flavours coming through.
