Have you ever wondered what goes on “behind-the-scenes” to create the beautiful Gardens & displays around our 🍇Wine Estate? Well now you can find out! We’re delighted to introduce The Estate Gardening Club, a brand new monthly Experience hosted by our brilliant Horticultural Team.
Hands on Experience - You'll be Digging!
Throughout the Year, we’ll invite you “behind-the-scenes” to discover what we grow, when we grow it & why. From the first Spring bulbs tucked into the Autumn soil, to the 🌷Flowers that “burst into life” in Summer, you’ll discover the plants, techniques & gardening secrets that help make Kenton Park Estate look spectacular every Season. And this isn’t just about watching from the sidelines - You’ll get involved! You’ll be digging with the Team!
Get your Hands dirty
There’ll be planting, sowing, propagating, pruning, planning & plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty - no experience necessary! Each month has a NEW theme (seebelow), reflecting exactly what’s happening at the Estate at that time of year. You’ll be planting Bulbs in October, planning next year’s colour palette in January, sowing seeds in Spring & learning how we keep our Summer Borders blooming beautifully.
🌱Garden Club Gathering
And when the gardening is done…….We Feast together on Seasonal produce grown here at the Estate! Our fantastic Chefs create a Sharing Feast & serve it in our Safari Hut overlooking the Kitchen Garden & in the Herb Garden in the Summer months. Every “Gardening Club Gathering” finishes with a delicious Seasonal Feast. A chance to relax, enjoy wonderful Food, meet fellow Garden Lovers & raise a glass to another day spent growing something beautiful. Spend the rest of the afternoon at the Estate & explore the grounds.
