Tours with a difference
All of our Tasting Tours have been created to provide a very personal experience for you.
Each of our tours below includes the tasting of at least 4 of our wines, all al fresco in the vineyard, exploring the different plantations and overlooking some spectacular views of the Devon countryside. We'll also try our artisan sparkling cider in the orchard.
We will run the tours for as little as 2 people, you will be booked onto a maximum party size of 12 for a more intimate and personal experience.

Tours last a minimum of 2 1/2 hours and up to 4 1/2 hours, allowing plenty of time to enjoy lunch. If you’d prefer something a little quicker then perhaps a Wine Tasting is for you.

Wine and Cheese
No explanation needed, it's the perfect combination.
Here we explore the vineyard, you'll hear all the stories of the Motley Cru and how the vineyard came about in a most unorthodox fashion. We'll visit all the plantations and taste at least 4 of our wines with some incredible views. As well as this we'll try our artisan sparkling cider and meet the Estate's animals as well! You’ll also be treated to our famous deli feast platters (as seen here).
£50 per head.
Wine Safari
The ultimate tour.
Finally, we have our most comprehensive Tour, our “Wine Safari” Tour.
Here we explore the vineyard, you'll hear all the stories of the Motley Cru and how the vineyard came about in a most unorthodox fashion. We'll visit all the plantations and taste at least 4 of our wines with some incredible views. As well as this we'll try our artisan sparkling cider. You’ll be treated to a delicious 2 course lunch straight from the vineyard kitchen. We’ll then head out to the herb garden to taste our very own “Cheeky Ginny” Gin with freshly made G&T’s using botanicals from the garden. Finally we’ll taste our very unique “Smokin Ginny” Gin in our stunning barrel room before rounding out the day with dessert.
£90 per person.
Winter Tours
A festive way to experience wine.
Winter tours run on demand throughout the off season (October - April). You’ll be treated to a winter version of our Wine Safari Tour (see above) with a more festive/alpine themed menu as well as mulled wine in addition to all the other wines. We’ll have log fires and blankets at the ready for the ultimate cosy wine experience and let’s not forget a scrumptious dessert with a brandy tasting in the barrel room.
£90 per person.
