These Paddle Board Adventures are part of the
‘WINE in the WILD’ Experiences at Kenton Park Estate
and combines a paddle out on the River Exe on a
stand-up Paddle Board with Wine Tasting & Food.
What could possibly be more fun than a spot of Paddle Boarding in a lovely part of Devon accompanied with Wine & a hamper basket picnic set up in the wild.
In true ‘WINE in the WILD' style, you will be taken in the Estate's Land Rovers to the Paddle Board launch site at Starcross on the River Exe. As you take a gentle paddle along the Estuary towards Dawlish Warren.
Based on parrticipants ability, we will have 2 routes. Beginners will paddle out to the wreck and back, we'll play games and attempt challenges along the way. We'll get back to the sailing club and set up the picnic overlooking any sailing. For paddlers with a little more experience we'll embark on the full adventure. We'll continue all the way down to darkish Warren where a picnic with an amazing cheese and meat platter will be be waiting for you to enjoy with our wines and cider.
Afterwards there's time to chill out or explore Dawlish
Warren Beach and Sand Dunes. Keep an eye on the
Estuary as you might get lucky & spot a seal. (note there is a 30 minute walk back to the car park at the end of the experience.
